About INC48
INC48 is an independent platform being built for EU INC formation — one European company, recognised across all 27 EU member states. We are not yet operational. This page explains what we are doing, why, and what we don't yet offer.
What INC48 is
INC48 is a formation platform being built around a single legal product: the EU INC, the European Union's forthcoming 28th-regime company form. The EU INC is a pan-European legal entity that is expected to become available across all 27 EU member states in Q1 2027. It lets founders incorporate once and operate across the entire single market, instead of picking a national form (GmbH, SARL, BV, and the rest) and then stitching together cross-border subsidiaries.
Our goal is to make the EU INC the obvious default for new European companies: something a founder can file in a few hours, with predictable cost, a cap-table investors already understand, and no country-by-country paperwork burden.
Why this matters
Incorporating in Europe today means picking a country. That decision is often driven less by where a founder wants to build and more by which national form is closest to the flows investors expect — which is one of the reasons so many European founders still incorporate in Delaware.
The EU INC is designed to remove that friction. One regime, one set of rules, one incorporation, recognised across the bloc. We think this is a significant improvement for European founders — and INC48 exists to make the experience of using the EU INC as straightforward as incorporating a Delaware C-Corp is today.
What INC48 is not
- We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Our platform automates filings and standard company-maintenance tasks; complex situations should go to qualified EU counsel.
- We are not operational yet. No incorporation, registered agent, or filing services are currently on sale. The EU INC regulation has not yet entered into force.
- We are not affiliated with the European Commission, the European Council, or any EU member state government. INC48 is an independent platform.
What we're doing now
Ahead of launch, the team is focused on three things:
- Tracking the regulation. We follow the EU INC file through the legislative process and publish plain-English summaries on our timeline and blog.
- Building the formation platform. The end-to-end product — incorporation, cap-table, employee options, registered agent, annual filings — is being designed now so that it's ready the moment filings open.
- Talking to founders. The waitlist is where we collect feedback from the founders who are most likely to incorporate an EU INC on day one. If you want your scenario to be an edge case we actually plan for, join the waitlist.
How we make money (at launch)
INC48 plans to operate a simple, transparent pricing model: a one-off fee to form an EU INC, and a monthly subscription to run it. Exact pricing will be published when the regulation is adopted. There is no freemium-style data-sale model — we do not monetise founder or company data.
